Genesis 18:9‭-‬14

⁹ They asked him, "Where is your wife Sarah?" And he said, "She is in the tent."

¹⁰ The Lord said, "I will surely return to you at this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son." Now Sarah was listening at the entrance of the tent, which was behind him.

¹¹ Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years, and Sarah had stopped having the way of women.

¹² So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, "After I am worn out and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?"

¹³ The Lord said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Shall I really have a child, now that I am old?'

¹⁓ Is anything too difficult for the Lord? At the appointed time, I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son."

Can you believe it? Sarah was barren and advanced in age, with no hope of having a child. But she gave birth to Isaac. That was indeed a miracle. The birth of Jesus Christ was also a miracle, as He was born to a virgin!

When Sarah was told she would have a son, she laughed because it was humanly impossible for her to give birth at that age. We should always remember one thing: God's ways are different. He works in ways we can never imagine. He is a Lord who performs miracles. All you have to do is trust in Him and pray to Him.

Takeaway:

Believe in the One who can perform miracles.

Always trust Him, for nothing is impossible with God.
