🔹Genesis 29:31
'When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb;'
An unfortunate woman. This is all I could describe about Leah until I noticed this verse. We all are aware of the background of this verse. An attempt of analysing the life of Leah will bring us to a conclusion where all her misfortunes are prevailed. She does not fit into a beautiful appearance, gained her husband's hatred and is always treated as a second option ( Genesis 29:17). Her existence itself does not seem valuable for the people around her. Also, in addition to her destitute Jacob loved Rachel more in front of her. All these circumstances marked the weaknesses and limitations of Leah. But wait, these same situations came as a medium for Leah to acquire the Almighty's blessings. That is what the above-mentioned verse reveals. The reason which made Leah weak and feeble become the motive for God's favour towards her.
Dear brethren, in our life journey too, as a human of decaying flesh, we are possessed with numerous weaknesses, imperfections and insecurities. We may not satisfy the beauty standards, maybe we are unnoticed, unintelligent, neglected and insufficient of eloquence, we may also have various health issues, learning disabilities, lack of confidence, sometimes we may fail at the temptation of our flesh...….. and the list goes on. It is an unavoidable fact that in one way or the other, we are all struggling with many weaknesses__
So, here is the message of consolation and hope. No matter how many frailties we do have, our God is there to turn it into a blessing. Be glad that we have so many weaknesses because the number of blessings will increase in proportion to that. Amid the wrestling moments of dealing with our illnesses, confess to Him about the things going through our hearts and what are we confronting. He will provide us with His immense grace and there comes the experience of a blissful chapter in our life.
🌼 In Brief Notes:
💠 Recognize, accept, and admit our weaknesses.
💠 Confess our frailties to the Almighty and experience His immense grace.
💠 No matter how giant is our weaknesses, submit ourselves to the one who loves us unconditionally. He will turn that into a blessing.
◽ Consoling verse:
💟II Corinthians 12:9
'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness'.
🙏🏻Praise God🙏🏻
